Great Advertising Locations for Your Business

Written By cepi Burhanudin on Monday, July 4, 2011 | 9:28 PM

Advertising a service or product does not mean buying the first publication space available for your company or handing out business card samples on the streets. No matter how good of a business card template you've chosen, this will not work if effective advertising strategy on distribution is not employed.
If you want to achieve sales lead or conversion to your advertising campaign, you need to think wisely about your distribution strategy. Location, think of it scientifically. The key is to know the location of your target market. Where they are normally found? Where can you engage them?
Traditional Media
These are the following: print, radio and TV. All three are saturated with all sorts of advertisements of various products or services. If you know your target market, you should know what time or day they normally watch TV, listen to the radio or pick up the newspaper. If you've done your research then you should know which time slots to buy for radio and TV, what day is best to place an ad on local and national papers or which is the best billboard location. This actually saves a lot of cost and also assures you of a higher probability of reaching your customers. Think out of the box and the more specific you are with your location, the better.
Trade Shows, Exhibits, Popular Places and the Likes
These kinds of events provide a huge venue for potential customers to go to. They are targeted to distinct audience (by industry) and give you less headache when it comes to pinpointing specific location.  Be ready with your brochures, flyers and most importantly business card samples. Also try to be a sponsor to one of these events. Depending on your budget, but the key thing is to have your logo and company name visible during prestigious events like this.
Internet
You have to be a little careful when it comes to online advertising. It's a little tricky in the sense that most users are so exhausted seeing countless ads popping up. Avoid annoying users as this will discourage potential customers viewing you in a positive light. Go for social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Creating an account with them is super easy and free! Advertise with all your might on those sites and attract a lot of followers. For Twitter, you can even link your business card samples in your profile. Make sure you choose a great looking business card template or come up with an eye catching custom design business card sample.
The most important branding and marketing tool is business card sample. Make sure you carry a few of them with you wherever you go. You'll never know when you meet an opportunity to create business relationship. Regardless if its custom business card or using business card template, just make sure they are presentable.

Producing an ad is not that a difficult task, but producing the
best ads is indeed difficult. Presently, making television commercials has become really simple with the availability of ad production tools. If you have sufficient knowledge of the production process, it can be quite easy to produce television commercials. But, in order to make an impact on the audience, you need to be creative and given below are some tips which can help you make the best ads.

Identify Your Target Audience
One of the first things to do before making an ad is to identify your target audience. Once you have determined this and have a clear idea about your target audience, it will become easy to choose the message that you would like to convey and also work on a style that will influence them. Your task can become even easier if you go by the market data which is available on a number of websites today.

Objective
The very next step towards producing the best ad is to establish your objective. To be successful in whatever you are doing, you must understand what your objective is and what you are trying to achieve with the ad. Whether you are trying to focus on the price of the products that you are offering, free services offered by your business or the quality of the products, you must have a clear objective.

Budget
It is also important to set a budget that you can afford. Remember, it is creativity that will determine the success of your commercials and not the big budget. Printing and Mailing Postcards

It can be costly to print marketing materials. The amount you spend depends on the kind that you want for your campaign. You may opt for bigger ones but the bigger it gets, the more expensive it becomes. Consider postcard printing, this tool may come cheap or expensive depending on how you would want it. For new companies, printing postcards would be a good way to start to market their service or product.
Why would companies opt for these cards? For one, it is a one page material and it will not eat up the company's budget unlike those several paged materials like catalogs and brochures. Second reason, by simply stating a one liner, the customer gets the bottom line of what you are trying to convey. Images are not as confusing since you only have a page to layout. It is not crowded with words because only relevant information is written. The material can be used as a reminder, a note to a loyal customer, an invitation to an event or even as a simple token that you can give out to remind customers of the service that you have. These cards can go a very long way in achieving your goals and bringing a good margin of profit for the company.
It is important that you also know how you can maximize the use of these cards by making note of some key points for printing and mailing it.
•    Delegate work for mailing: You have grown accustomed to doing all necessary jobs in mailing those cards. From stamping to mailing them. There is nothing wrong with that but consider that that is not all that you can use your time for. There are other things that you need to do aside from buying stamps and posting it on each card. We are already in a generation that everything can be done as fast as we want to. Other printing companies have grown as well by offering not just printing services but postal services too. This is amazing. They now serve as a one stop shop where you get to let the work done without transferring your materials from one place to another which aside from being tedious can also cost you a great deal of money.
•    Have a good layout: As always, it is important to keep in mind that we do all the efforts in coming up with a material that attracts customers and causes them to do purchase for our products and services. Many companies invest on these materials because they know that it can be a great help for their company in terms of sales. Your target customer becomes attracted to your material only if it is eye catching. It is important that you design it well according to the theme of your marketing campaign. Ask for layout artist who can assist you on this so you are sure that you are printing professionally made cards. Others make a mistake by coming out with unprofessional ideas just to save money for the company. In the end, the target customers were not reached because the material is perceived to be of poor quality.
Postcard printing and mailing can be that easy if you keep these things in mind. Postcards are helpful as discussed because of its variety of uses for promoting your company's product and services.

How to Market Postcards

Marketing cards like a pro is the gist of this article. We will talk on how we would able to distribute this material effectively in order for you to achieve your marketing goal for the company.

Design

Cards can have a lot of design but see to it that the design relates to your product. Come up with good ones that are easy to understand. In an effort to come up with something creative, other companies distribute cards that confuse customers with imagery that does not express the direct point of the product that they are offering.
Always think as a customer so you will have an idea what a customer would feel or think about your product. Always do research on one liner that will intrigues customer and eventually lead them to inquire about your products and services.
Know your goal so you can plan accordingly as to how you want to design your cards. Other companies design their cards as if it is a note coming from a friend. This has become a new trend as well, to reach out to customers as if they are your customers already. Make them feel at ease by not sending them cards that appears to be aggressive in getting their money. Always be sensitive so you will gain their approval and loyalty to your products.
Make sure that you also put in all the necessary and relevant information. Your contact numbers and address should come handy so that it would be easy for them to reach you when they want to make the purchase. Avoid putting in too much information because this may create confusion.

Printing
When it comes to printing, consider a lot of factors that will greatly impact your material. Cards should be printed on papers that will endure mailing. You may need to think of coating it since it will not only serve a way to introduce your product but also as a reminder. Customers may like to put it on their refrigerator. Think of these possibilities. It will always be helpful to think ahead of your customers so you already address their needs before they can think of it.

Mailing
Consider the time when the customer will get your card. If it will arrive at a day that they are busy, chances are they will not take note of it. Always bear in mind that you are mailing them something that are new to them, so make sure that you plan as well as to when it will arrive at their end.  In mailing cards, make it a point to make it personal by listing the right name of the customer. If it is not intended for them, less likely would they be interested in ever opening it. Make also a conscious effort to mail it first class. Put a budget on it so customers get to receive the cards in good condition.
Postcards are really useful. Postcard printing is never too difficult as a task as long as you know the basics.
